Day 81 – #100HappyDay Challenge
Some days are best being experienced. Especially when I get company!
My son and Mr. Abraham finally arrived despite the airline delays and flight changes. Seems like the cyclone bomb (aka ugly winter storm) is causing havoc on the east coast, as well as impacting weary travelers.
Just in case you happen to get stuck traveling, check out some top airports as rated by Condé Nast Traveler readers.
What better way to spend a chilly day than having lunch and shopping at Nordstrom. Plus my son is an experienced stylist who humors his old mom when he comes into town.

tarting off an afternoon of shopping demands sustenance. Fuel up at the cafe. Indulge in a fragrant salad, topped with salmon, or a burger and fries. It’s ALL good. If you want to go all out, sip a glass of wine relaxing into the Nordstrom experience.
Sitting right outside of the cafe is my favorite department, Nordstrom at Home. Here you will find all kinds of fun unique must haves for your nest. By the way, the towels and sheets are out of this world and they happen to be on SALE!
Bootie search continues
For me, it was all about finding a pair of booties. I bought several pairs of Vince Camuto booties at the Nordstrom anniversary sale which I fell in love with a few years ago. Like all the rest of my great love affairs they eventually ran their course and I had to say goodbye.
Unfortunately the bootie search continues. We didn’t find the style I had fallen in love with. My sons advice; move on. It’s time to leave them in the past and find a fresh, new style. Time to move on.
Sending you all love and happiness.
