Epic Vision Board Party

There I was a few months ago mindlessly cruising the web when I stumbled on an upcoming Epic Vision Board Party announcement hosted by Jen at Livingoutgoals. My finger paused before swiping the screen away. Then I hit the back button.

I reread the description. Before I could change my mind, I decided to sign up for the event. I’ve been challenging myself to try new things – even the most unlikely things. Like attending an Epic Vision Board Party.

Hears the deal; Since we all have goals and dreams why not explore them with an interactive activity like creating a vision board with like minded women. I liked the idea but I really loved seeing how it all came together.

Jen is a lovely, vivacious hostess with gads of charm and warmth. The event was well planned in a beautiful setting. I was so busy getting settled and chatting with the ladies I didn’t snap the table before we all sat down – really wish I had thought to do that since it was prettily laid out with all the supplies at each seat.

AnyHOO, Jen provides a vision creation and goal setting guide along with a 16×20 canvas board to build your vision board and all the supplies your heart could want. She gracefully stepped us through the process with ample encouragement and honest examples from her own experience. Everyone dove straight in, clipping pictures from a variety of magazines thoughtfully provided while chatting up a storm. I was so engrossed, It was hard to break away for lunch and to have a few pictures taken.

We ended the event with a champagne toast and promises to stay tuned for her next event.

Tip: If you are in the Houston area please take a look at Jen’s Facebook group and upcoming events. I’m pretty sure it’ll be a good time. Plus the like minded ladies you’ll meet will make it worth while. Sometimes we all need accountability partners, mentors and cheerleaders and it sounded like her Facebook group is just the pace to find it.

Sending you love and happiness.
